The Kyne Foundation, in partnership with Dennis Okwera and the Lumule Foundation organised a fundraising cycling adventure from Jinja to Lumule, Uganda, in March/April in 2025 to support the construction of a health facility for the community in Lumule. We were delighted to have raised over €80,000 toward that goal.  However, with a total of €270,000 needed to complete the build, there is much more work to do...

 

To that end, the Kyne Foundation and the Lumule Foundation teamed up again and joined Paris2Nice to take on their 750km cycle in September 2025.  The team of David Kyne, Dennis Okwera, Conor Quirke and Ken Dawson Howe built on the success of our Uganda cycle and raised an additional €15,000 towards the vital health clinic in Lumule.
