At the Kyne Foundation, partnerships begin with people. We are drawn to those who lead with care, kindness and a genuine wish to support others. Our partners help us bring ideas to life, create meaningful experiences and extend the reach of our work in thoughtful ways.

Together, we hope to build moments of connection that ripple out into families, schools, communities and everyday life.

Elephant in the Room

Elephant in the Room is an artist-led participatory public art movement that uses a collaborative artwork sculpture programme, supported by educational activities and lessons, to bring communities in schools together and create spaces where difficult conversations can happen naturally.

In partnership with Elephant In The Room we have developed school resources that are available for free for all primary and secondary schools.

Ireland

Supporting Brent Pope's initiative to give people everywhere permission to talk about their mental health as openly as they would discuss a physical ailment, without judgement or discrimination, for the better well-being of the individual, family, workplace, and society.

The initiative encourages organisations to adopt an elephant sculpture as a symbol of their commitment to prioritising mental health conversations and to engage with artists and students to customise the sculpture. We are working with the team to partner on expansion to the UK and the US.

The Shona Project

We are proud to be the official partner of The Shona Project Handbook 2026. This September, over 30,000 copies will reach secondary schools across Ireland, supporting girls through the challenges they face in their everyday lives.

Created with girls, the handbook brings together honest conversations, practical advice and real stories. Through this partnership, we are helping The Shona Project bring a trusted resource to thousands of young people, so girls can feel seen, supported and understood.

The Lumule Foundation

We provide financial, programmatic and organisational support to the Lumule Foundation, a UK and Ugandan-registered charity working with children and families in Northern Uganda. The foundation was founded by Dennis Okwera, who fled the region as a child during a period of conflict when children were being abducted and forced into armed groups.

The Kyne Foundation will continue supporting Dennis as Lumule develops its school and medical centre, grows community health supports and creates opportunity through education, care and connection.

HELP School Masese

Providing financial support for building and expanding a free primary school in the village of Masese in Jinja, southern Uganda. The school was started by HELP Uganda (a registered NGO in Uganda and a project of the US nonprofit HELP International) in 2009 with one teacher and 45 children to provide free education to children living in slum conditions.

The Kyne family has supported the school since 2010 through direct funding to assist with construction and expansion, ongoing sponsorship of individual children, and support for a food programme. The latest expansion will increase the student population from 750 to over 1,000, giving the majority of Masese children access to a safe, sustainable school and a hot meal each school day.

The Shona Project

Lumule Foundation

Lumule Foundation was founded by Dennis Okwera to work alongside children, young people and families in Lumule, a post-conflict community in northern Uganda, creating locally led opportunities for wellbeing, education and connection.

Through our partnership, Kyne Foundation is supporting Lumule Foundation to develop a Community Health and Wellness Hub, a gathering place bringing health, wellbeing, youth programmes, agriculture and community life together. The Hub is being shaped with the community, working together to identify local priorities and solutions, and building on existing strengths and health services.

Supporting The Shona Project in its mission to empower young women in Ireland by fostering kindness, resilience, and confidence through storytelling, education, and community. The Shona Project creates a safe and supportive space where girls can connect, learn, and thrive through school workshops, the Shine Festival, online resources, and leadership programmes.

The Kyne Foundation is delighted to welcome internationally acclaimed clinical psychologist and New York Times bestselling author @doctorshefali to Dublin this October for a special evening hosted by Kyne Foundation co-founder @jacquelinekyne.

Together, we will explore conscious parenting and how we can support our children to build confidence, resilience and a deeper connection to themselves while navigating anxiety, relationships, screens and the pressures of today’s world.

The evening will also draw on themes from Dr. Shefali’s two new books, Raising Conscious Sons and Raising Conscious Daughters which she recently shared on @oprahpodcast.

Dr. Shefali’s work has been a longstanding influence on Jacqueline’s own journey and the work of the Kyne Foundation, making it especially meaningful to welcome her to Dublin.

The Gathering Table @lisnacarrighouse @aventinewellnessgardens.ie was created as a space to simply come together. For people who care deeply about wellbeing, connection and community.

Not to present.
Not to perform.
Not to network.

Just to listen, learn, share experiences and have meaningful conversations.

What stayed with us wasn’t any one conversation. It was the reminder that when people come together with openness and curiosity, something shifts.

New ideas emerge.
Relationships deepen.
Connections are made.

And often, the ripple continues long after the evening ends.

The Kyne Foundation did not begin with all the answers. It began with an instinct.
