Take the

Kindness Ripple Challenge

The Kindness Ripple Challenge is a simple invitation for students, schools, families and communities to notice, share and practise small acts of kindness.

A ripple can begin in a hallway, a classroom, a kitchen, a garden, a group chat, or one small message.

Quiet kindness counts. Connection starts small. Small acts can travel further than we ever see.

Share a moment that stayed  with you

It can be something you did, something someone did for you, something your class or school did, or a moment in everyday life that helped someone feel less alone.

You can choose whether your story stays private or is shared anonymously to inspire others.

For Schools

Schools can take part in simple, meaningful ways.

A conversation.
A weekly act of kindness.
A moment of noticing someone who may need support.

The goal is not perfection or performance.

It is creating a culture where people feel seen, included and supported.

Your story could help win a prize for your school

For Families

At home, kindness might look like:

Phones away at dinner.
Making someone a cup of tea.
Checking in properly.
Helping without being asked.
Giving someone a fresh start.
Taking a walk together when words feel hard.

The smallest moments often become the ones people remember.

Recognition & Prizes

The Kindness Ripple Challenge isn't a competition. Every ripple shared makes a difference.

That said, we'd love to celebrate some of the stories that come in. From time to time, we'll select a ripple to shine a light on — sometimes from a student, sometimes from a family, sometimes from a whole class or school.

Selected ripples may receive:

A voucher for the student or family.

A class treat or wellbeing activity.

A donation to a charity or cause chosen by the student or class.

A kindness toolkit for the school.

A spotlight story shared anonymously or with permission.

How it works

Stories are selected organically rather than on a fixed schedule — we choose ripples that move us, surprise us, or feel like they deserve to travel further. If your ripple is selected, we'll be in touch through the email you used to enter.

All recognition is at the discretion of the Kyne Foundation. Sharing your story does not guarantee selection. Stories may be shared on Kyne Foundation channels with your permission, or kept anonymous if you prefer.

Please note:

Only share your own story or a story you have permission to share.

Do not include private details about another person. If you upload a photo, make sure everyone in the photo has permission to be included.

Stories can be submitted privately and do not need to be shared publicly.
