The Gathering Table at Aventine Wellness Gardens
In June, we created The Gathering Table at Aventine Wellness Gardens, a small and thoughtful event designed to bring people together around connection, wellbeing and collective impact.

The idea was simple.
No stage.
No formal programme.
No pressure to have the answer.
Just a small circle of partners, friends and new voices from across wellbeing, mental health, education, mindfulness, creativity and social impact, gathered in one place to talk, listen and share what matters.
Among those gathered were Brian Pennie, Daragh Fleming, Mark Fennell, Mind With Heart, My Silent Place Mindfulness, Costanza Giagnoni, Elephant in the Room and the team at Aventine Wellness Gardens, alongside friends and partners of the Kyne Foundation.
Each person brought something different to the table. Some came through friendship. Some through shared work. Some through a simple invitation passed from one person to another. That felt very true to Kyne.
Aventine gave the evening its tone. Surrounded by nature, people had space to pause, settle and meet each other properly. The garden held the kind of quiet we believe in at the Kyne Foundation, calm, reflective and open.
For us, this is where much of the work begins.
Around a table.
In conversation.
Through people who care deeply about their own communities, and who are open to learning from one another.
The gathering was not about a formal panel or a fixed outcome. It was about creating the conditions for connection. A space where people could speak honestly, share experience and feel part of something thoughtful and purposeful.
That is what stayed with us.
Not one conversation.
Not one moment.
But the feeling of the evening.
The sense that when people gather with intention, something shifts. New ideas emerge. Relationships deepen. A small act of gathering can begin a quiet ripple.
The Gathering Table is part of how we hope to keep building the Kyne Foundation, through partnership, conversation, kindness and care.
Aventine reminded us that connection does not need to be loud to be powerful.
Sometimes, it begins quietly.
In a garden.
Around a table.
With people willing to listen.
