Creating spaces where conversations can begin

At the Kyne Foundation, we're passionate about supporting organisations that are helping young people feel seen, heard and supported. One of those organisations is Elephant in the Room, whose work is opening up important conversations around mental wellbeing in schools across Ireland.

We know that meaningful change doesn't happen through one conversation or one programme alone. It happens when schools, families, communities and organisations work together to create environments where young people feel safe to ask for help, express themselves and support one another.

That's why we're proud to share the Elephant in the Room Schools Programme with our community.

Designed for both primary and secondary schools, the programme combines creativity, practical classroom activities and wellbeing resources to help teachers introduce conversations around mental health in an engaging, age-appropriate and accessible way. From launch packs and lesson plans to art activities, editable templates and classroom resources, it provides schools with everything they need to bring the programme to life.

By sharing resources like these, we hope to make it easier for more schools to access programmes that encourage kindness, connection and emotional wellbeing, ensuring these important conversations continue to ripple outward.
